IRAAC is an Aboriginal Community Organisation and registered charity, working under the NSW Local Decision Making Framework.
IRAAC represents and serves its community through a set of programs and a growing focus on governance and organisational capability. We are a charity, run by and for community — independent of government, though we work alongside Aboriginal Affairs NSW, Alliances and Assemblies to progress the priorities community identifies for itself.

Local Decision Making is the NSW framework that gives Aboriginal communities a stronger say in decisions that affect them, delivered through regional Alliances and Assemblies working with Aboriginal Affairs NSW. IRAAC's programs and governance work all sit within this framework.
